What happens when a contemporary naqqal (storyteller) meets her namesake, Gordafarid, a female warrior from over a thousand years ago? Through poetry, movement and music, they grapple with the question of ownership, and the myths and realities of being Iranian, American, and somewhere in between. The cast includes Layla Khoshnoudi, Sade Namei, and Leyla Modirzadeh.
